Some breast pump accessories do need replacing regularly to maintain performance. If you notice that your pump seems to have lost suction, the first thing you should do is take a look at your parts, particularly the valves, and inspect for wear, fraying, or stretching and replace if needed.
Diaphragm and duck valves need to be replaced every 3 months;
Backflow linker and flange shields need to be replaced every 6 months

Easy cleaning
Wash Momcozy V1 Pro/V2 Pro pump parts after each use with warm soapy water and rinse well. Please clean with a temperature of ≤212℉ (100℃) for 5-10mins.
The size of the flange insert is very important for comfortable and efficient pumping. Some moms experience nipple swelling while expressing, so if your nipple feels squeezed in the flange channel, it is an unsuitable flange size and you need to replace the right size flange insert.
